The Navitas® Arc Series introduces the next generation of Arc Fault Detection Devices (AFDDs), designed to enhance safety and compliance across residential and commercial installations.

With B curve options ranging from 16A to 40A, these devices offer 6kA short-circuit protection and include a 30mA RCD rating, meeting the highest industry standards.

Leveraging a market-leading PCB, the Arc Series continuously monitors circuit waveforms to identify potential arc risks caused by damaged wiring or faulty appliances.

These AFDDs align with BS 7671 recommendations for socket outlet circuits and are mandatory for high-risk residential buildings, nursing homes, student accommodations, and HMOs.

The devices feature a clear red indicator to differentiate between normal operation and fault conditions. As with our N2 series RCBOs, the Arc Series employs 2P (Single Pole and Switched Neutral) technology, switching both line and neutral during a trip and monitoring current flow on the line side for optimal safety.
